Where We're At: CD
A lot about love and life in art tends to be driven by beginnings and endings. Rare is the work that takes aim at the inbetween, a space without jittery butterflies or a neatly tied (or messily undone) conclusion. This makes Abby K’s new album "Where We’re At" a unique endeavor as she explores a moment in time no less complicated or captivating
A lot about love and life in art tends to be driven by beginnings and endings. Rare is the work that takes aim at the inbetween, a space without jittery butterflies or a neatly tied (or messily undone) conclusion. This makes Abby K’s new album "Where We’re At" a unique endeavor as she explores a moment in time no less complicated or captivating than the bookends of a story. Written in collaboration with her husband Brian, and recorded at Seattle’s iconic London Bridge Studios with seasoned producer Jonathan Plum, "Where We’re At" is a charming and thought provoking mix of resplendent folk-pop that touches upon the reality of what it means to be “getting by” together during a time of great uncertainty.
